B2B Growth Hub — A Growth Platform for a Community of Half a Million Businesses
B2B Growth Hub is a global business growth platform serving a community of more than 500,000 businesses. It exists to take business owners from struggle to scale — connecting them with partners, suppliers and buyers, and giving them the systems, roadmaps and authority-building tools that growing businesses usually have to assemble for themselves.
Its members range from sole traders looking for their first ten customers to established companies expanding into new markets. Serving that range from one platform means the journey has to adapt to whoever is arriving, rather than presenting everyone with the same funnel.
Challenges Faced
A community of that size, with no single platform to serve it end to end.
Three different audiences — buyers, suppliers and partners — each needing a different journey through the same site.
A sales funnel run largely by hand: enquiries, qualification, follow-up and scheduling all requiring a person at each step.
Lead data spread across inboxes and spreadsheets rather than held in a system of record.
No self-service route, so growth in the community meant a matching growth in administration.
A brand presence that did not reflect the scale of the network behind it.

Transformational Results
Manual work across the sales funnel reduced by approximately 75%, on the client assessment — enquiry handling, qualification, follow-up and scheduling that previously needed a person at each stage now run automatically.
One platform serving buyers, suppliers and partners, instead of a single funnel that suited none of them well.
Member data held in a real database with server-side sessions, rather than in inboxes and spreadsheets.
A community that can grow without administration growing with it, which was the constraint on scale.
Self-service for the things members previously had to ask for — booking, briefs, quotes and account changes.
A brand presence that matches the size of the network behind it.
A community platform is judged by whether it still works at scale. Serving half a million businesses through processes that need a person at every step is not a growth platform — it is a bottleneck with a website in front of it. The work here was as much about sequencing as technology: simplify the journey, connect the systems, automate the predictable steps, and apply AI only where language or judgement genuinely helps. That order is why the automation held rather than becoming another system to maintain.
